Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission’s compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Guidelines for Authors

Title Page:

    Title should be concise and informative. Clearly define the authors’ affiliation addresses and email address. Please clearly indicate the (corresponding author) all the correspondence will be made with corresponding author at all stages of peer review process and publication.

Abstract:A concise and factual abstract is required (maximum length 150 words). The abstract should state briefly the purpose of the research, methodology, results and major conclusions.

Keywords: Immediately after the abstract, provide a maximum of 8 keywords.

Subdivision of the article: Divide your article into clearly defined and numbered sections. Subsections should be numbered 1., 2., (then 1.1, 1.1.1, 1.1.2), 1.2, etc. Use this numbering also for internal cross-referencing.

Figure legends, figures, schemes: Present these, in this order, wherever appropriate in the text. High-resolution graphics files must always be provided in the main text file.

Tables: Present tables, at the appropriate place of the article. Avoid vertical rules. Ensure that the data presented in tables do not duplicate results described elsewhere in the article.

Formula: The text size of formula should be similar with normal text size.


Citations in the text should follow the referencing style used by the American
Psychological Association.
